Here’s my growing bookshelf of Has Been Reads. I’m starting this with some of my favorite books I’ve read so far in 2025, but it will keep growing for the foreseeable future.

I recently finished The Silmarillion and loved the world building of Tolkien, once again. I also raced through Sunrise on the Reaping. And I gotta say, that book has some THINGS TO SAY.

Of the books I’ve read so far in 2025, I’d have to say The Silmarillion, Sunrise on the Reaping, Relic (borderline horror), The Women, and Foundryside have been my favorites, and I might even do a little review of each here soon.

Now, I’m reading Lirael and re-visiting Garth Nix’s world after a five year hiatus. But I just bought the sequel to Foundryside, so that will get started very soon. And, I’m in the middle of a very long attempt to read The Blade Itself
